O'America

Two or three days ago I saw an afro-american interviewee saying that she would vote for Obama because he is black, so as to show that the colour of a person's skin doesn't matter.

I'm a decrepit and decayed product of what I recall somebody described as Old Europe. Could some smart with-it person explain to me the logical processes which make the World's only Superstate function?

Well, I know that said processes aren't fully represented by the isolated comments of one American voter.

Well I wouldn't claim to be either particularly smart or with-it, but the underlying logic seems to be that making color matter *now* is the necessary step to color not mattering in the future.

There is a Group of people who benefit from the spurious injection of race into all aspects of life in the USA (same problem in Europe and it's the same Group responsible). The idea is to get people feeling either xenophobic or guilty. In both cases, the masses are herded into a controlled dialog. Hollywood, TV, et hoc genus omne (which are wholesale controlled by the Group) who fan the flames with lies and propaganda.

Obama and McCain are essentially the same. Both are owned (either by blackmail or birth) by the Group which, incidentally, owns Bush, Brown, Sarkozy, Merkel, et alia. The Group is bent on world domination through control of money, oil, gold, food, water and religion.

Race is a barrier erected to separate those who would otherwise be allies in the fight against the Group.

The Gospel tells us we are either Jew, Gentile or Christian. Obviously, Christians aren't to blame. So, it's the Jew, the Gentile or the crypto-Christian that is to blame. In whose interest is it to destroy Christianity? What 2000+ year old Group has sought to undermine the Church; first putting Christ on the Cross and ever since trying to take Him down?

What appalling rot. I truly hope that you are not, as your handle would seem to indicate, a priest.

"billyd" is obviously not a student of Church history. I suggest he start with the New Testament.

I'm not sure that the NT distinguishes three groups: Jews, Gentiles and Christians . It offers, depending on how you look at it, two or four groups: Jews who are'in Christ' and Jews who do not have pistis and Gentiles who are 'in Christ ' and Gentiles who do not have pistis. It puts both the 'in Christ' groups together as being on the way of salvation and both apistia groups together as under God's judgement. I would apply the same hermeneutic to 2000 years of Christian history. Thus I find myself in disagreement both with those who blame the Jews simpliciter and those who throw accusations of 'antisemitism' at any who question the policies of the state of Israel.

I say, "Jew, Gentile or Christian," on account of S. Paul's instructions to Galatian Christians: "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature...the Israel of God"(Gal.vi.15ff). Which is clearly commentary on his preceding statement (iii.27ff): "...as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek..."

Having put off the works of the flesh (expressed either Jew or Greek), a man sacramentally regenerated is a Child of God - a Christian. A Jew or a Gentile persistent in their former fleshy ways strive against the Holy Spirit. They cannot be both Jew and Christian, Gentile and Christian.
